Formulation
Hypoallergenic
A dermatologist-graded Human Repeat Insult Patch Test (HRIPT) found 0 instances of irritation after 110 participants (59 with sensitive skin) had OCHRE products applied to their skin over 6 weeks.
Noncomedogenic
A dermatologist-graded assessment found a reduction in the number of scalp comedones after 23 participants used Essential Shampoo and Essential Conditioner over 2 weeks and 27 participants used Everything Haircream over 2 weeks.
Microbiome balancing
A third-party lab found that OCHRE products maintain skin microbiome diversity and growth of commensal scalp microbes after 23 participants used Essential Shampoo and Essential Conditioner over 2 weeks and 27 participants used Everything Haircream over 2 weeks.
Yes. All of our products are clinically proven to be hypoallergenic and have been Accepted by the National Eczema Association.
Yes. All of our products were tested and certified by Sequential Bio to maintain the microbiome.
We formulate without fragrances to reduce risk of irritation. 30 - 45% of allergic reactions caused by cosmetic products are due to fragrance.

Shipping and Returns
Most orders will take 5 - 7 business days to ship.
No, we do not ship outside of the US at this time.
When you place an order, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email that includes a tracking number (if provided by the carrier), allowing you to monitor the progress of your shipment.
Please keep in mind that it may take the carrier 24 to 48 hours to scan the package and update their tracking system.
