Essential Conditioner

Ochre is an incredible line! It is perfect for clients who have sensitive and troubled scalps! I absolutely love that it works with the microbiome! Truly an incredible and clean product line with so much intension & thought! The cream is also an amazing product and leaves the hair feeling soft and nourished but doesn’t weigh it down! The balancing trio has happy my scalp immensely. I had an extreme dry, itchy, flaky scalp. I have been using trio balance for about 6 months now and the flakes are almost completely gone. Thank you Ochre

Summary: Great even for oily hair, good slip and hydration, no build up from cream, soft silky hair, healthy scalp, left with fabulous hair! It’s like I’m going to a Fragrance Free spa every time I wash!

I have struggled for years to find the right kind of hair care that is fragrance free from my hair type. I have fine, medium density, mostly straight hair with some waves in the back, low porosity hair.

Before having to be fragrance free, I use brands like Suave essentials, Biolage Hydrasource, Pantene classic, Trader Joe’s spa nourish, Paul Mitchell awapuhi, 7 seconds detangler.

When I had to go fragrance free at the time, Pantene had a fragrance free line that worked really well for me. I tried other lines, but this line seem to do the best they discontinued that and I was left not knowing what to do because my scalp likes sulfates. When I use sulfate free shampoo, I deal with oily flaky scalp, and my hair never feels clean.

Then I face a different issue going fragrance free, not only is my oily scalp not feeling clean, but my very long hair was feeling dry. I had to cut a foot of hair off because of poor fragrance free formulas.

I need a shampoo that will clean my scalp and my hair Well and a conditioner that will give me slip even when the hair is dry and keep my hair hydrated.

I am giving this five stars, but I would like the shampoo to clean a little bit better. Overall, I am getting fantastic results in regards to a fragrance free product. The shampoo is cleaning my hair and my scalp without causing oily flaky buildup on my scalp or my hair feeling greasy. The conditioner has good slip while in the shower and I continue to have soft smooth tingle free hair once my hair is dry. When I say tingle free, I mean when I run my fingers through it’s not sticking on a tangle. Just a little something here the conditioner does have an ultra mild floral note when I pump the conditioner out of the container, but that’s the only time I smell it. There’s no scent left on my hair, my hands or anything else. Everything irritates me when it comes to smells and this actually smells nice and I don’t have any reaction to it whatsoever.

I was really hesitant with using the cream and I only applied it to my ends in the beginning. Then I only applied it to one section of the hair. Finally, I decided to section my hair off into four sections and apply that way. I’ve had no issues with the cream, it doesn’t leave a film or make my hair look greasy. I can’t tell that I’ve put something in my hair when I run my fingers through it. The cream makes my hair have more volume, but no frizz. It does add more of a soft silky feeling to the hair and gives it sort of this nice pizzazz with the little bit of extra shine.

Since I had to cut my hair from 28 inches to 15 1/2 inches I am requiring less conditioner, but I’m only needing two pumps of conditioner as well as just two pumps of shampoo. With the cream I’m using right now about four pea sizes.

I ordered this set where I also got the limited edition bag. Everything arrived great! It comes with the pumps for the shampoo and conditioner. They even put in little samples so you can keep them or give them to somebody to try.
The travel bag is so nice. I’m thinking about using it as my makeup bag. It’s that nice!

I did get the subscribe and save, but I’m not sure if I will be using the cream up as fast as the shampoo and conditioner. I’m thinking of getting the subscription for the shampoo and conditioner as well and just spacing everything out so that when needed, I can get the total package and then keep my maintenance up with the shampoo and conditioner.

I have found one downfall to it all though, my hair feels so nice that I want to touch it consistently which if you have oily hair, you know that that can help encourage the oil. :) I wish I could tell everyone who uses fragrance free products to try this brand. You don’t need to have scalp issues to use it, but I can tell you that I don’t have scalp issues and my scalp is even better now after just a week of using the shampoo and conditioner. Usually by now the fragrance free products would’ve started to give me a buildup or my hair feel really dry. With each use my hair is actually getting better from the dryness from the previous fragrance free hair products.

Really loving Ochre. I do find I use more conditioner than shampoo maybe because I’m postpartum. But I sure do love the product. Have noticed my skin doesn’t break out since using this product.

When I say I’ve tried all the supposedly non irritating shampoos and conditioners I mean it. I have seborrheic dermatitis I flare up and get so many red scalp bumps along the front of my hairline. Traditionally only the head and shoulders advance can clear it up but it’s just so bad for your hair so I have looked into alternatives and tried them and they end up making it worse and itchy. I was flared up when I got this stuff it has gone away and I haven’t done anything else different. I am impressed
